In order to meet the temporal-spatial partition thermal demand of residents in northwest villages and towns in winter, a combined floor and Kang heating terminal is proposed, and a comparative experimental study is carried out on the indoor thermal environment construction effect of the combined terminal in four operating modes. The characteristics of day and night of indoor thermal environment in different operating modes of the combined terminal are mastered. The temperature space heterogeneity and radiation heterogeneity are compared and analysed. The results show that when the combined terminal is operated alone, it could not meet the requirements of indoor comfortable temperature of day and night at the same time, and the uniformities of temperature space and radiation are poor. When running together, the indoor thermal environment has the best effect, but the indoor temperature is higher than the indoor comfortable temperature, resulting in a certain heat waste. When running alternately, it can better meet the requirements of indoor comfortable temperature of day and night with the better thermal uniformity, so it has significant advantages. This study finds the feasibility of the combined terminal application and its suitable operation mode, which provides the proof for the improvement of indoor thermal environment by applying the combined terminal to the buildings in northwest villages and towns.
